With Jungle 43, California-based breeder The Jungle Boys proves that a strain doesn’t have to be overly complicated to nail the assignment. This super-calming indica-dominant hybrid is a straightforward combination of a backcrossed Triangle Kush and a White Fire (#43), hence the name Triangle Kush #43, or TK43.

If you dig deeper into this strain’s family tree, you very quickly end up with some of the original Kush landraces, including Hindu Kush. Of course, with such strong Kush genetics, this strain packs a definite Kushy aroma but also has a nice perky, lemony note. Jungle 43’s effects are slow to onset but incredibly long-lasting, and according to most, this is one powerfully happy and sleepy strain.

With a sleepy overtone, you’ll fall asleep before you know it, and you’ll be in a blissful slumber before you know it. There are a number of conditions that TK43 is particularly effective at treating, including chronic pain, muscle cramps, inflammation, arthritis, chronic stress, and insomnia. This is due to the high average THC levels of 26-30 percent in this strain. Slightly gassy exhalation, spicy and peppery earthy flavour. A spicy overtone adds to the heaviness of the aroma, which becomes more pronounced as the nugs are burned down to nothing. Tiny amber crystal trichomes coat the TK43 buds, which have rounded, fat, dusty green nugs covered in thin, dark amber hairs.
